About Danielle M. Matricardi

Danielle Matricardi is a partner at Denmark Ashby LLC that oversees the transactional department. She currently focuses her practice on local government law, contracting and procurement, and land use and zoning matters. Her passion and skill for legal research and writing allows her to help our clients understand a variety of complex and novel legal issues.

Danielle earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgia State University. She received her Juris Doctor degree from Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude and was highly recognized for her legal writing abilities.

During law school, she served on the
Mercer Law Review, the oldest continually published law review in Georgia. As a law review member, she wrote a piece on the constitutional rights of transgender inmates that was selected for publication. She was also awarded the Faculty Legal Writing Award and received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for Legal Writing, Advanced Legal Research, and Georgia Civil Practice & Procedure.

Upon graduation, Danielle was inducted into the National Order of Scribes, an honorary organization that recognizes graduating law students who excel in legal writing, as well as the Brainerd Currie Honor Society, which recognizes graduates who have distinguished themselves by maintaining superior scholastic records and making significant contributions in areas such as research and writing.

Danielle was born and raised in metro-Atlanta. When not working, you can find her spending time with her family, playing with her two dogs, or cheering on her favorite soccer team, Atlanta United FC.

Danielle is a member in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia, the Atlanta Bar Association, and is admitted to practice before the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
